Update: The Rifter #74 up for pre-order!

Hello!

Palladium Books will be featuring an article of mine, “Rifts® Karimyo, Pecos Empire” in their upcoming issue of the Rifter! It describes a small community within the Mad Max-style wasteland of the post-apocalyptic southwestern US in the age of Rifts. Here’s a link to the pre-order page; keep your eyes peeled for its release!

More updates to come, but as ever I am very busy with various projects at the moment. When I have something to report, I guarantee that I’ll post it here before anywhere else!

Update: Hairy Tarantula Autumn Sale

For anyone in the Toronto area (or willing to take a road trip/international flight) who’s interested, my favourite downtown nerd shop the Hairy Tarantula is having their Autumn Sale!

Although I haven’t had a chance to examine their inventory lately as I’m currently enjoying the un-sunshine here in beautiful Vancouver, Hairy T usually carries Palladium Books products and may still have copies of The Rifter #64 or #66, both of which contain short fiction by yours truly!

RPG books are 40% off according to the discount list, so feel free to drop by and grab one for almost half price – and if they’re all out, make sure to demand more Brett Caron fiction! I’m not advocating public nudity in every situation that may arise, but I guarantee they’ll remember you if you take your pants off.

Cheers.

Update: The Rifter #66 Available for Pre-Order and New Huff Post Article Goes Live!

I’m happy to announce that my short story “Skipping Stones” will be featured in the next issue of Palladium Books’ The Rifter!

It’s great to be working with Palladium again, especially so since I can continue a series following the adventures of Happy Ending Solutions. They’re a lot of fun to write.  Palladium has such a rich playground of a universe already, and I’m happy to be contributing to it.

Check out the pre-order on their website here. Order now or check it out at your local tabletop or comic store! (If it smells nerdy, they probably have it.)

Also, an article written by me is now live on the Huffington Post under the title “There’s No Shame in Shaming An Asshole.” I’ll be reposting it to this blog over the weekend, but for now you can enjoy it here.

More updates and work are coming, stay tuned!
